Bashkir State Medical University started in the year 1932 and it is one of the most significant medical universities in the Russian Federation and the center of medical and pharmaceutical sciences of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Bashkir State Medical University is one of the biggest medical university in Russia teaching MBBS. It is recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional groups. Bashkir State Medical University is offering a low-cost MBBS program. The university is preparing doctors for near countries like India, Nepal and far abroad. There are more than 8000 MBBS students who are already studying in the university, including more than 850 foreign students from 40 nations, around 1000 clinical residences and Ph.D. programs and 7000 postgraduate professional trainings in our University. Bashkir State Medical University also includes the medical college, which offers vocational secondary education in specialties of Nursing and Prosthetic Dentistry.
University has a state-of-art United Center of Simulation-Based Training, which is equipped with state-of-art simulators, where students, clinical residents, and physicians of Bashkir State Medical University can enhance their practical skills in neonatology, anesthesiology, resuscitation, obstetrics and gynecology, endoscopy, neurosurgery. From 2016 there is the Center in Bashkir State Medical University for primary accreditation of doctors and pharmacists.
Bashkir State Medical University has collaboration with prime international educational, scientific and medical institutions. Cooperation with foreign partners allows students and young doctors of Bashkir State Medical University to take part in international exchanges, workshops, various joint research projects as well as to get familiar with other cultures and to improve different foreign language skills.
As of now, Bashkir State Medical University is having a list of foreign partners includes around 30 universities, clinics, scientific and educational centers of Germany, China, USA, Norway, etc. Moreover, every year up to 30 students and young doctors from the University Clinic go for a summer internship in Universities of Germany and China. Lectures, workshops, and seminars of doctors and professors from other countries are also held in the university.
