Emilio Aguinaldo College of Medicine was founded and established by Dr. Paulo C. Campos, who is a National Scientist in Nuclear Medicine for students who wanted to study MBBS. On July 23 with 24 enrollees, it was formally opened and Dr. Salvador R. Salceda, an ophthalmologist became the first Dean from 2001 to 2003, followed by a gastroenterologist, Dr. Esteban P. Pineda from 2003 to 2010, then a surgical oncologist, Dr. Conrado C. Cajucom from 2010 to 2013 and the fourth and present Dean is Dr. Asuncion L. Abaya-Morido, a general surgeon and the former Hospital Director of Medical Center Manila, now known as the Manila Med.

The founder of the School of Medicine has envisioned the school to be an outstanding institution for medical education and health research teaching MBBS to students from far and abroad. The school provides education and a scientific environment that prepares the students to become professionally competent, socially-relevant, and compassionate physicians with a strong commitment to lifelong learning. Also, it is committed to undertaking relevant reforms on medical education in response to changing national and global health needs and scenarios, as well as newly generated medical information.

The staff of the School of Medicine is dedicated, respected, and competent academicians, as well as clinicians who are well-known in their fields of specialty and they, implement an outcome-based, synchronized curriculum, with early clinical integration and emphasis on the interactive learning process. Also, they are having well-equipped classrooms, basic science, and skills laboratories and a library.

Classrooms, laboratory facilities, and offices were well confined at the 9th floor of Building 7 and Building 5 in the past but due to the growing population of both medical students and faculty members, expansion to the EAC Building 7 became necessary on 10th floor in Manila, Philippines.

The competent team of the Emilio Aguinaldo College is committed to MBBS education and training of relevant, competent and compassionate physicians who will be effective health care providers, researchers and teachers who has a strong desire to continue the pursuit of knowledge and a deep sense of service to the community and the nation.

  • NEET Score must be for General Categories - 147 Marks & For Reserved Categories - 113 Marks
  • In 2021, NEET cutoff passing marks for general category is 720-138, while for SC/ST/OBC it is 137-108.

• In English only • Required only if student is minor less than 18 years. ➢ Bank Statement of Father or Mother (PLEASE NOTE: Passbook copy is not acceptable) • 6 months original bank statement with Bank Stamp on it. • Minimum closing balance not less than Rs. 2.5 Lakhs. • In case account is opened less than 6 months then letter from bank manager stating when the account was opened.

FACILITIES AVAILABILITY
Library The University has 2 libraries (General and Medical) in the university campus. The Medical library has a large number of books, journals, international journals and periodicals etc. The libraries offer well-furnished, and air-conditioned reading rooms with seating capacity of over 200 person at a time.
Sports The university has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities in the campus like table tennis, basketball, volleyball, 400-meter running track, tennis court, etc. The university is one of the members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association.
Computer lab The institute has a well-equipped computer lab in the campus with latest computer machines and tools.
