Jalalabad State University was founded in the year 1993. It is one of the best and oldest medical universities in Kyrgyzstan. Jalalabad State University is recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and World Health Organization (WHO).

The Institute is providing the best infrastructure for their students and the quality facilities like good and spacious hostels, library, modern classroom, etc moreover, the institute is providing a healthy and friendly environment on the campus for their students. The institute has various other activity centers on campus like gym, separate sports complex etc. The University believes in the overall development of every student and thus organizes various personality development programs such as Seminars, Debates, Conferences and Student Exchange programs. Apart from personality development programs, the University organizes various sports and cultural events and also encourages students to partake in these activities.

Jalalabad State University is offering a low-cost medicine program. The university is preparing doctors for near countries, and far abroad. Around 14000 students are studying at Jalalabad State University, over 700 teachers work, including 15 doctors of science and professors, and 116 candidates of science and. therein approximately 1000 students from countries like India, Iran,Israel, Kazakhstan, Nepal, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the United State of America, and Uzbekistan. Producing specialists with high education within the following 54 field sand with secondary professional education in 12 fields. The medical faculty of Jalal-Abad State University is affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Science Education, Kyrgyzstan. Jalal-Abad State University was opened by the president of Kyrgyzstan on April 2nd 1993 as a state educational institution designed to provide training for specialists with basic and complete education in such areas as electronics, energy, construction, medicine, education, and also specialists for the agro-industrial complex.

Jalalabad State university is strengthened their international relation annually. At present, JASU has close cooperation with leading research center and universities with in the country and as well as across the globe, with whom there is an agreement on joint research activities. The main subject of the agreement is cooperation through joint scientific research, social and cultural activities, education, academic and scientific cooperation, internship, and research opportunities for students and faculties, and many more.

Jalalabad State University has many tie-ups with many universities such as: Donbass State Pedagogical University from Ukraine, Xinjiang Agricultural Vocational and Technical Institute from China, KIIT University (Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology) from Bhubaneswar, India, Altai State, Russia, Bartin University from Turkey, Zabaykalsky State University of Russia, Turan University from Kazakhstan, Kazakh University of Technology and Business (KazUTB), Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Aini, Tomsk State Pedagogical University from Russia, Institute of soil, fertilizer and agricultural irrigation (with the Agrarian Academy of XUAR) from China, Turkish universities – Kastamonu, Giresun, Haran, Çankırı Karatekin, Bartin; Vinnytsia Socio-Economic Institute of the Open International University of Human Development, Ukraine; Foundation POSCOTJ PARK, Korea and many more.

In the year 2015, 4 students and 7 teachers of Jalalabad State University visited in the universities of Turkey within the Mevlana program. In the year 2015, 5 students receive scholarships from the POSCO TJ PARK Fund, Korea. In the year 2015, 4 teachers visited colleges in India with the support of Embassy of India. More than 400 students were enrolled in the year 2020 from the countries like India, Turkey, China, Afghanistan, Nepal, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkmenistan.

The university has tie-ups with various reputed hospitals of the country to train student at a professional level and hospitals are well-equipped with the latest diagnostics and facilities by which a student can learn modern diagnostics and technology.

  • Candidate must have passed their 10+2(sr. secondary education) with minimum 50% marks with PCB(physics, chemistry, and biology) from any recognized board.
  • NEET Score must be for General Categories (2020) - 147 Marks For General & For Reserved Categories - 113 Marks

    The University has instituted a certain number of scholarships for meritorious students, in several categories of study and as well as extracurricular activities.

    The scholarship is awarded based on the marks in the qualifying examination i.e. senior secondary examinations for admission to UG courses.

    Students scoring at least 80% marks in the qualifying examinations are eligible for the scholarship in select courses.

    The scholarship ranges from 25% to 100% of the tuition fee, depending on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination. The table below illustrates the amount of scholarship.

• In English only • Required only if student is minor less than 18 years. ➢ Bank Statement of Father or Mother (PLEASE NOTE: Passbook copy is not acceptable) • 6 months original bank statement with Bank Stamp on it. • Minimum closing balance not less than Rs. 2.5 Lakhs. • In case account is opened less than 6 months then letter from bank manager stating when the account was opened.

➢ No objection letter/ Sponsorship Affidavit on a Rs. 100 stamp paper (Original).

➢ Minor affidavit on Rs. 10 Stamp Paper from Father and Mother if Student is below 18 years

old.

FACILITIES AVAILABILITY
Library The institute has a spacious library in the campus with more than 726636 copies, the main part of the books. Space in the city of Jalal-Abad, the general fund – 639964 copies, which is the main part of the educational Publications 528961 copies, and 16706, complete with electronic resources. More than 3585 copies of books a year, and may be purchased in various publications,and electronic resources, more than 1304 copies of magazines, books and other electronic publications and other informational resources shall be presented.
Sports he university has a sports club for their students and teachers to demonstrate their skills and abilities not only in their academic endeavors, but in sports as well. The sports club every year organize cricket leagues and basket ball tournaments. The sports club also has a body-building hall, however to attend it you will have to become a member of the sports club. Workouts are provided both in the afternoons and in the evenings.
  • The university has a hostel in the campus in which they are providing a well-furnished room with all the necessary amenities like a bed, mattress, cafeteria, air-condition, etc. Some of the important facts about the hostel: -
  • Hostel: - The distance between the hostel and the university is about 3 km and the transport facility is also available to them.
  • Room occupancy info: - The hostels are available in two, three, four, five sharing occupies in rooms. Students can choose one of them based on their needs, requirement,budget, and availability.
  • Basic Amenities: - All the rooms are well-furnished and centrally air-conditioned with all the necessary amenities like a bed, bed sheets, mattress, study table, wardrobes, etc. Moreover, there is a common study room and a library is there in every hostel.
  • Laundry room info: - Each floor of every hostel is having a common laundry room that can be used by every student on that particular floor.
  • Kitchen info: - Each floor of every hostel is having a common kitchen which can be used by every student of that particular floor. Kitchens are shared with 2-3 electric burners, and a microwave, where students can cook their meals whenever they want to do.
  • Washroom and Toilet info: - There is an attached washroom and a toilet is there for every room in the hostel.
  • Boy and Girl Division info: - Boys and girls hostels are separate.
  • Security info: - All the hostels are very safe and secure as they have security cameras in every hostel for the students safety. Also, have the security staff to secure every hostel.
  • Indian Mess availability info: - Indian food is available in the mess for the students and they are providing healthy and nutritious food to every student and staff. Both Veg and Non-Veg food is available to the student.
  • Gym info: - The university has a gym in the hostel with modern machines and tools like dumbbells, treadmill, etc.
