Jilin University established in the year 1946 and it is located in Changchun. It was listed as a national key university in 1960.

It recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional groups. It was approved as the university which is directly managed by the central government in 2004. It is one of those universities which is having an advanced system of education, and it trains students with the help of updated education technology of medical study. The university embraces the high-tech methods of practical medicine that empower students to be focused, competitive and flexible in the world market.

There are 73,702 full-time students, with 27,397 postgraduate students, 43,260 undergraduate and college students, over 2,000 international students are currently studying in the university.

Library The university has a libraries in the campus with more than 1.5 million volume comprising of 0.792 million paper volumes and 0.958 million digital volume etc. It covers and area of more than 25,000 square meter with the seating capacity of 1,200 people at a time.
Sports The university has both indoor and outdoor sports facilities in the campus like table tennis, basketball, volleyball, swimming etc.

  • University distance from Hostel: - Hostel is not in the university campus as the student has to travel about 4 metro station to reach the university campus.
  • Room occupancy info: - The hostels are available in three, and four sharing occupancies in rooms. Students can choose one of them based on their needs, requirement, budget, and availability.
  • Basic Amenities: - There are a lot of facilities in the hostel for the students as they are providing the well-furnished rooms with WIFI internet facilities to make the student feel comfortable. All the rooms are equipped with necessary amenities like bed, mattress, pillow, desk, chair, heater, lightening, etc which help students to study and relaxation.
  • Laundry room info: - There is no laundry room available in the hostel.
  • Kitchen and Washroom and Toilet info: - Hostel is having 2 common kitchen in every floor that can be used by every student of that particular floor. Kitchens are shared with 2-3 electric burners, and a microwave, where students can cook their meals whenever they want to do..
  • Washroom and Toilet info: - There are 7-8 common washrooms and toilets are available in every floor of the hostel.
  • Boy and Girl Division info: - Boys and girls hostels are not separate but each hostels having separate floors for both boys and girls.
  • Security info: - All the hostels are very safe and secure as they have security cameras in every hostel for the students safety. Security staff is always there for the security of the students. There is a checkpoint in front of the entry door of the hostel, students cannot enter or exit without showing their ID cards. Entry and exit id prohibited after 11:00 PM.
