Tbilisi State Medical University is one of the biggest medical universities in Georgia imparting MBBS education. It is recognized by WHO, MCI, and many more international professional MBBS groups. Tbilisi State Medical University offers low-cost MBBS program. The university is preparing doctors for near countries like India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and far countries abroad. Tbilisi State Medical University has experienced the Institutional Evaluation Program, performed by the Association of European Universities.
TSMU passed the authorization process successfully and unconditionally in 2018. From 2023, as per the World Federation of Medical Education, only the diploma of the university whose medical programs will undergo International Accreditation will be recognized within the Euro-Atlantic space and now the university is getting ready for this important step.
